Twisted Trivia Press

Idea Submissions

Hey, we hate it too. But here we are.

Got an idea for a topic? A gag? A title/subtitle? A mascot? A character? (Yes, even Flatulence Lad.) Cool. We love this stuff.

But because the internet is the internet, here are the rules of the road:

  • Not confidential. Don’t send anything you want kept secret. We’re mysterious, not secure.

  • You keep your dignity. We get the rights. By submitting any idea, joke, concept, character, line, name, slogan, or other creative chaos (“Submission”), you grant Twisted Trivia Press a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it, edit it, adapt it, combine it with other ideas, publish it, and commercialize it in any format.

  • No promised payment. If we use your Submission, we might credit you, send you swag, or name an emu after you. But we’re not obligated to compensate you unless we explicitly say so in writing.

  • Don’t send stolen stuff. By submitting, you’re saying the Submission is original to you (or you have the right to submit it) and doesn’t violate anyone else’s rights.

  • We may already be working on something similar. If your idea resembles something we publish later, that doesn’t mean we stole it. By submitting, you agree not to make claims against TTP over “similar ideas.”

  • We can change anything. We reserve the right to rewrite, rename, redesign, or otherwise mutate Submissions into something even we can’t recognize later.

In short: If you send it, we can use it. If you hate that, do not send it.
